The Modular Zero Carbon School is a case study created at GLHN to bring the practice of carbon neutrality to grade school students, teachers and families. It takes the form of a design manual which describes how a desert school classroom building can be built and maintained with low embodied carbon.

Individual modules are designed to be arranged in clusters, providing shaded areas for the study of rainwater management through riparian areas and experimental farming.
